The practice of allyship is essential for creating an atmosphere based on respect, inclusiveness, and equity in the academic context that is becoming more diverse and complex. The decision to actively and continuously support colleagues who are marginalized - whether because of their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or academic standing - is, in this scenario, known as allyship.

Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to examine prevalent obstacles like exclusion and microaggressions, comprehend the significance of intersectionality, and devise workable solutions to establish a culture of authentic support.

Together, we will look at how to turn intentions into actions that empower leadership and individuals to promote an equitable opportunity throughout the organisation.
