International graduates are of high importance to the German labor market. On the other hand, the German labor market offers attractive opportunities for internationals.
The event "Start Your Career in the Karlsruhe Technology Region" offered by KIT and the Karlsruhe Technology Region highlights career opportunities in the Karlsruhe area and provides you with expert information on organizational matters relating to employment.
In short presentations you will learn about selected services of KIT supporting international graduates e.g. the International Students Office, KIT´s Career Service, the Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists, and the International Scholars and Welcome Office. In addition, the Karlshochschule International University and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) will introduce their services for international students and scientists. You will discover the Karlsruhe Technology Region as an attractive region for life and work as presented by the Welcome Center of the TRK and learn about the support services for international graduates who would like to stay for work in the region offered by the Federal Employment Agency Karlsruhe-Rastatt.
During a panel discussion, HR managers from companies in Karlsruhe, employment agents from the Federal Employment Agency, and KIT alumni who have started work successfully will share their experience on how to find your employment and get started. All experts will be available for individual conversations directly after wards.
You may benefit from for individual consultations (10 minutes per person) with the employment agents from the Federal Employment Agency Karlsruhe-Rastatt. Please make sure to register in advance to secure your individual appointment.
The event will be organized by KIT's International Scholars and Welcome Office and Career Service & Alumni Group in cooperation with the Welcome Center of the Karlsruhe Technology Region.
