Professor Dr. Alexander Wanner

Born in 1962, Dr. Alexander Wanner was appointed Professor for Materials Science by the former Universität Karlsruhe (TH) in 2003. There, Wanner worked as Studies Dean at the KIT Department of Mechanical Engineering from 2008 to 2012. On June 01, 2013, Alexander Wanner started activity as Vice-President for Higher Education and Academic Affairs. In September 2018, he was re-elected for a second term lasting until 2025.
