HR managers from companies all over Germany ranked the informatics program of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in first place. For the second time successively, the program reached the top position in the university ranking of the WirtschaftsWoche journal. KIT reached second positions in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and business engineering. Place 3 was reached by natural sciences.

“The consistently good ranking of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology shows that we succeed in excellently qualifying our students with our close-to-research and -practice study programs,” says KIT President Horst Hippler. “In this way, they are prepared well for the start of their profession and meet the requirements of industry, economy, and research.”

Ranking is based on a survey made by WirtschaftsWoche among more than 500 HR managers of the largest German companies. Among others, the HR managers were asked to name the university, from which they get the best graduates in the relevant study programs. In the total ranking, RWTH Aachen and TU Darmstadt only are placed ahead of KIT.
