Master’s Degree Programs

KIT offers more than 60 consecutive master's degree programs and master’s programs offering additional training with a focus on engineering and natural sciences, but also on economics, computer science, and humanities and social sciences. Results of current research are directly integrated into teaching. Our students benefit from the outstanding student/faculty ratio and equipment of a university of excellence. At the end of their studies, they receive the academic degree of Master of Science, Education or Arts upon successful completion.

Doing a Doctorate at KIT

KIT stands for outstanding research and cutting-edge innovation. We focus on strengthening top-level research - from fundamental research to application. PhD students have the chance to work in a wide-ranging research environment in future-oriented topics such as energy, mobility, climate and environmental research, or particle physics. We support our doctoral students on their career path with interdisciplinary qualification opportunities as well as individual support and advisory services.

Doctoral Programs

In addition to doctoral studies at one of the eleven KIT departments, KIT offers the opportunity to do a doctorate in numerous doctoral programs within the framework of a structured qualification and supervision concept.
