Lecture Series on the Occasion of the 2020 Science Year– Bioeconomy
On the occasion of the “2020 Science Year – Bioeconomy,” experts of various disciplines will discuss an organic future within the Colloquium Fundamentale. In her opening lecture on Thursday, May 07, 2020, Dr. Christine Rösch, Head of the “Sustainable Bioeconomy” research group of KIT, will speak about social, economic, and political challenges associated with the transition to bioeconomy as well as about criticisms and controversial aspects of the use of increasingly scarce natural resources.
On the dates given below, the Colloquium Fundamentale will take place at 18.30 hrs. Due to the measures taken to mitigate the pandemic, the lectures will be transmitted live via ZAK’s YouTube channel www.youtube.de/ZAKVideoclips. The lecture will be followed by a chat with the audience.
