Hannover Messe 2026

Monday, 20 April 2026, 9:00-18:00
Messegelände
30521 Hannover

From 20 to 24 April 2026, Hannover Messe – the world's largest trade fair for industry, technology and innovation – will take place. As in previous years, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will also be represented.

In Hall 11, Stand B06, we will focus on technology transfer and a key technology of the high-tech agenda: fusion energy. With an exhibit from the heart of a fusion power plant – the breeder blanket – we will present a technical solution with the potential to make a significant contribution to the energy supply of the future. Using a gyrotron demonstrator, we will illustrate how microwave technology is used to generate and heat fusion plasma to several million degrees. In addition, we will present further exhibits dealing with hydrogen technologies, the electrification of chemical processes and innovative energy conversion concepts, among other things.

At the KIT-Gründerschmiede stand in Hall 11, you can also gain exciting insights into other successful spin-offs. Talk to innovative founders and discover how research is successfully transferred into application.

If you would like to attend in person, you can obtain a free trade visitor ticket via the download button at the bottom of the page.
