Alumna in spotlight: “Industrial decarbonization: reality, challenge, future”

Wednesday, 10 December 2025, 18:00-19:00
online via ZOOM

Industrial companies are at the heart of climate transformation – and under enormous pressure to act. But where do we really stand when it comes to decarbonization? What are the biggest stumbling blocks, and what role does carbon removal play as a complement to emissions avoidance? The presentation provides a concise overview of the status quo, challenges, and strategic levers for a climate-compatible industry.

The presentation will be given by Patricia Moock, who studied chemical engineering and process engineering at KIT. After various professional positions in Germany and abroad, she founded a company and advises other companies on sustainability strategies.

After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion.

The access link will be sent to all registered participants on the day of the event.
