Alexander von Humboldt Professorship
The Alexander von Humboldt Professorship is the most highly endowed German science award and is granted exclusively to top researchers who are world leaders in their field and work abroad. The Humboldt Professorship enables long-term, forward-looking research to be conducted at universities and research institutions in Germany. The award money amounts to 5 million Euros for scientists working experimentally and 3.5 million EUR for scientists working theoretically and is available for a period of five years.
