Materials Day 2026

Auditorium of the "Fortbildungszentrum für Technik und Umwelt (FTU)" at KIT, Campus North.
The KIT Center Materials in Technical and Life Sciences (MaTeLiS), cordially invites you to participate in the Materials Day, which is meant to bring the scientists interested in materials research together at KIT. This year, the focus for the Materials Day will be on:
"New Opportunities in 3D-Printing"
The goals of the Materials Day are:
- to inform about recent developments in MaTeLiS
- to strengthen the affiliation of the members to MaTeLiS
- to give scientists the opportunity to inform about current topics with talks or a poster presentation
- to invite experts in the given field
The Materials Day offers its community scientific talks, poster-presentations, time for networking and initiation of new cooperation.
Tuesday, October 20th, 2026, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Registration from 08:30 to 09:00 am)

Participation in the Materials Day is open to the public (presentation language is English), free of charge, but we require a binding online registration.
