Transfer you can touch: research, spin-offs, and the city
Tuesday, 12 May 2026, 13:30-14:00
K26, Kaiserstraße 26, Karlsruhe
What happens when research leaves the lab and becomes something people can actually touch, walk through, and experience?
Riccardo La Magna from KIT's Faculty of Architecture joins us for the next maKeIT HAPPEN to talk about komorebi - a pavilion that weaves together sustainable material development, digital fabrication and real societal impact. It's a story about how academic work can find its way into public space, and what that journey looks like in practice.
Come for the talk, stay for the conversation. This one is open, personal and very much up for discussion.
The talk is in English. Drinks, coffee and snacks will be provided.
No registration required. We look forward to seeing you!
