Remote studies can be made from at home via the internet in-dependently of place and time. Hence, this type of learning rep-resents an ideal way of qualification for persons having profes-sional or family obligations. The Remote Studies Center of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) counsels and supports remote students and interested persons at no costs. On Friday, February 22, it will organize an open house from 14 to 18 hrs in order to present itself to the public (Karl-Friedrich-Straße 17, Karlsruhe). This event will be part of the Germany-wide Remote Studies Day 2013.
In close partnership with society, KIT develops solutions for urgent challenges – from climate change, energy transition and sustainable use of natural resources to artificial intelligence, sovereignty and an aging population. As The University in the Helmholtz Association, KIT unites scientific excellence from insight to application-driven research under one roof – and is thus in a unique position to drive this transformation. As a University of Excellence, KIT offers its more than 10,000 employees and 22,800 students outstanding opportunities to shape a sustainable and resilient future. KIT – Science for Impact.
