Applications of Superconductors

KIT Conference Presents Potentials and Applications of Superconductors of the Latest Generation

Efficient electric motors, compact generators, and current limiters for the high-voltage grid. The energy turnaround opens up many applications for high-temperature superconductors. However, high-performance materials must be available and manufacture of superconductors should be inexpensive. At the CCA 2012 International Conference, about 120 experts from industry and science will discuss current developments.
