Hector Fellow

Each year since 2009, the Hector Foundation has awarded the Hector Science Prize. The prize money of 150,000 Euros is given to professors at German universities and research institutions for their outstanding research achievements and their dedication to teaching and the promotion of young scientists. The awardees work in fields as different as the natural and engineering sciences, mathematics, computer science, psychology and medicine. The prize includes the title Hector Fellow and the acceptance into the Hector Fellow Academy.
