Erwin Schrödinger Prize

The Stifterverband's Science Award - Erwin Schrödinger Prize has been awarded for outstanding interdisciplinary research since 1999. The prize is awarded for scientific or technically innovative achievements that have been made in borderline areas between different subjects in medicine and the natural and engineering sciences and in which representatives of at least two disciplines have participated. The prize is endowed with 50,000 Euros. Since 2004, the prize money has been provided in annual rotation by the Helmholtz Association and the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft.
