Trainees with Top Achievements
At a ceremony held at the BadnerHalle in Rastatt at the end of November last year, the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) honored outstanding achievements in training and further education. Among the 211 best in their year in the Karlsruhe economic region were 16 graduates of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). They all passed their final exams with at least 92 out of 100 points. With their exam grades, two KIT trainees even made it onto the podium of the state's best: biology lab technician Louie Elio Rothenberger and event manager Julia Kanzleiter.
Wide Range of Apprenticeships and Dual Study Programs
“Such outstanding qualifications are only possible thanks to the commitment of our institutes, infrastructure, and administration departments,” says KIT training manager Sabrina Heinze. “Every day, our trainers enthusiastically impart the knowledge and skills required for the profession – and accompany our trainees on their way to successful completion.”
With more than 25 apprenticeships in the fields of natural sciences, industrial engineering, business, and IT, as well as 12 degree programs within the framework of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), KIT is one of the largest and most important training companies in the Karlsruhe Technology Region. At the end of 2025, 253 trainees and 66 DHBW students were registered at KIT.
