KIT Prepares Students Excellently for Employment

QS Graduate Employability Ranking 2017: KIT Is the Best University in Germany and in 20th Position Worldwide

A first place in Germany and in the top 20 worldwide: These are the results of KIT in the Employability Ranking published today by Quacquarelli Symonds, briefly called QS. This ranking focuses on the preparation of university graduates for the labor market. Among others, KIT reaches very good results for the indicator of “cooperation with employers” and the proportion of employed alumni.

In the area of cooperation with employers, KIT is granted 96.1 of 100 possible points. As regards the employment rate of graduates, KIT reaches 74.8 of 100 possible points, which is the best result of all participating German universities. In the overall ranking, KIT scores 76.6 (of 100) points and is in position 20 on the international level. Other German universities in the top 50 of this ranking are TU Darmstadt (place 30), TU München (place 42), and RWTH Aachen (place 44).
