Chief Science Officer 2

The Chief Science Officer 2 (CSO-2) is assigned to the KIT Vice President for Research and Information, Prof. Dr. Detlef Loehe. The CSO-2 is responsible for the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Physics and for the KIT Optics and Photonics Focus and Ångströmquelle Karlsruhe (ANKA). He holds authority over the Helmholtz Programs Nano- and Microsystems and Synchrotron Radiation ANKA Program and is line manager of the Presidential Committee for the institutes IAM/AWP, IAM/WBM, IAM/WPT, IFP, IMT, INT, ISS and for the ANKA Commercial Services.
