Experts Discuss Questions Relating to the Consciousness of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence, AI for short, has long crossed the borders of science and engineering and is being discussed widely in society. Often, discussion focuses on the question whether AI can develop consciousness – and what this means to humans. Such questions will now be in the focus of the new science pod-cast “Selbstbewusste KI” (Self-conscious AI) of the research group “AI Consciousness” of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In twelve episodes and a final discussion addressing ques-tions asked by listeners, experts from science and society will deal with this topic. The podcast will be issued every Tuesday.
