From the country lore to the weather app: In times of climate change, precise weather forecasts are gaining importance. But how do weather models and simulations work? How can urban regions prepare for weather extremes? These questions will be answered by researchers of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 18.30 hrs. At the Karlsruhe city hall, they will present the research activities of the KIT Climate and Environment Center relating to climate simulations and urban development.
