How can the transition from school to university and the initial phase of studies be organized in terms of contents and structure? Which conditions are needed for a successful start and completion of studies? These questions will be discussed by representatives of universities from all over Germany at the meeting of the MINT-Kolleg Baden-Württemberg, an institution established by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Stuttgart University, on March 20 and 21, 2018, in Stuttgart. The Minister of Science of Baden-Württemberg, Theresia Bauer, will open the meeting by her welcome address. Professor Horst Hippler, President of the German Rectors’ Conference, will make an introductory presentation.
