KIT is Proud of Its Trainees

IHK Awards to Federal Champion and Material Tester Johannes Klauke and State Champion and Biology Lab Assistant Christoph Grün

Two trainees of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) are granted prizes by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for the best examination this year: Johannes Klauke from the Institute of Highway and Railroad Engineering is federal champion 2012 in the profession of material tester. Christoph Grün from the Chemical Biology Group is the Baden-Württemberg champion of biology laboratory assistants. The IHK will honor both as state winners on November 20 in Heilbronn. On December 10, Johannes Klauke will be handed over his prize as the federal champion in Berlin by the Deutscher Industrie und Handelskammertag (DIHK, Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry). The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kristina Schröder, the Federal Minister of Family Affairs. The event will be presented by Barbara Schöneberger.
