KIT offers to 3000 PhD students, 70 young investigators, and junior professors from Germany and abroad
- innovative concepts for the development of their scientific and personal qualities,
- an excellent environment of university research and large-scale research, and
- excellent national and international networking.
Offers tailored to individual scientists are in the focus of interdisciplinary support by the Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) and the Young Investigator Network (YIN) as well as of scientific education in graduate schools and research groups, PhD programs, and faculties. With research groups and a number of other internal measures, KIT supports the early autonomy of the young scientists.
