This competence area is dedicated to information and communication technologies and its realisation in economic and social organisations. It covers all aspects of communication systems and information engineering, its formal foundations, algorithms, software systems and cognitive systems, high-performance computing, and its applications in robotics, medical engineering and automotive systems.
