In the course of the 2018 Girls’ Day on Thursday, April 26, at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), girls will be informed about studies and vocational training programs. Girls from the 5th year of all types of schools will then have the opportunity to look into fields of work and jobs in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering. KIT scientists on Campus North and Campus South will inform about job perspectives in more than 40 workshops, guided tours, and presentations.

Being „The Research University in the Helmholtz Association“, KIT creates and imparts knowledge for the society and the environment. It is the objective to make significant contributions to the global challenges in the fields of energy, mobility and information. For this, about 9,300 employees cooperate in a broad range of disciplines in natural sciences, engineering sciences, economics, and the humanities and social sciences.
