With Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and Universität Karlsruhe two equally strong partners have merged in the Karlsruhe Institute of Technologie (KIT). In regard to its three guidelines research, teaching and innovation KIT relies on strong partners: in scientific networks, in close collaboration with numerous universities and research facilities all over the world as well as in cooperations with economy and industry.
